Another piece of the silly season puzzle has fallen into place! Valentin Guillod just announced on his social-media channels that he has signed a deal with the Honda SR Motoblouz team to compete in the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship. Guillod will sit alongside Jeremy Van Horebeek beneath the French team's awning. The following statement was released.
"Glad to announce that I will be back racing in the MXGP class for 2020 with Honda SR Motoblouz. Thanks for this opportunity @TeamHondaSR @HondaMoto_CH and all my sponsors."
Guillod failed to secure a rider in the Grand Prix series this year but did compete at the Grand Prix of Germany as a wildcard. Fourteenth overall was his final ranking, via a thirteenth and fifteenth in the two motos.
