The weather forecast for Oxford this week does not exactly make for pleasant reading and RHL Activities have recognised that. The opening round of the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship, which was set to run on Friday and Saturday, has consequently been postponed. The first race will now take place at Preston Docks two weeks later.
"The team and myself are absolutely gutted to be postponing the opening round of the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship however the weather is out of our control," Gareth Hockey (Director of RHL Activities) said in a statement. "The opening round will now take place at Preston Docks on April 14 and 15. We will be making a further announcement next week as to the re-scheduled round."
The opening round of the Maxxis British Championship will still run at Culham on Sunday – that has been confirmed. The St Blazey Premier MX series will also run on Monday. Those two events will make up the British Motocross Festival.
