Darian Sanayei bowed out of the first Maxxis British Championship round on the first lap of moto one, after colliding with another rider in one of the rutty turns. Details on how bad the issue was were not known initially, as he had to go and see a specialist on Tuesday, but it has now been confirmed that no season-ending injuries were sustained.
Speaking to MX Vice exclusively, Sanayei mentioned that he would be riding this weekend and that it will never be any worse than this. It is bruising that is the issue currently, so that will subside with time and he actually believes that he will be much closer to one hundred percent in Portugal. This is obviously great news because, based on the way that he has ridden thus far this year, it is only a matter of time before he lands on the overall podium.
