Just hours after Adam Cianciarulo confirmed that he will skip the entire Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki have revealed that Martin Davalos will also miss the outdoors. Davalos, who was a revelation aboard a bigger bike last year, tore his MCL, suffered herniated discs in his spine and also fractured a vertebra earlier this year.
"This season has been very tough for me," Davalos said in a statement from Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. "After multiple evaluations and doctor visits, I've decided I will need the time to recover and get back to feeling healthy while doing what I love most. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to work with the entire Pro Circuit Kawasaki crew again and thankful for all of their time, efforts and support throughout this whole process."
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki will head into the outdoors with Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy and Garrett Marchbanks. Forkner started riding just last weekend, so will have around two weeks to prepare for the opening round on May 19.
