Information

– The MX Vice team are already at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, held at Matterley Basin, and will be covering the event extensively from this point on. There will be reports, analysis, opinions, interviews, images, podcasts, videos and much more across all channels. Follow motocrossvice on Twitter and mxvice on Instagram for more from round nine of MXGP. MX Vice will be your hub from this point on.

– Those of us in Great Britain are one hour behind mainland Europe. Fans in Southern California are eight hours behind and then Australian residents in Sydney are nine hours ahead. Please adjust the timetable accordingly, as it is based on local time.

– Seeing as we are at the track and have a better look at the action than what you will get on your television, we will be providing updates all-weekend long. Connection should not be too much of a problem so, with that in mind, load up this page now and prepare to visit it frequently across the weekend.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course. Fantasy MX Manager, the ultimate motocross game, is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the second year in succession and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes. 24MX have put up £20,000 worth of vouchers and it is even free to enter. What more could you want?

– Conditions should be perfect at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, although it seems that there will be a constant threat of rain. Temperatures should be just above twenty degrees across the weekend, which is weather for racing! If it does rain, it seems that will happen on Friday.

– There are a lot of British riders who are desperate to prove their worth on the world stage, so it is hardly surprising that there will be a lot of wildcards in the EMX250 and EMX300 classes this weekend. The entry lists for those classes can be viewed on this link. Additionally, there will be a VMX class that features a full gate.
