After travelling all of the way to Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia, Iker Larranaga Olano did not make it very far in the races. Larranaga was involved in an intense battle in moto one and then hit the dirt before he had a chance to see the chequered flag. The crash, which was undoubtedly one of the most vicious of the season, left him with a pair of dislocated shoulders. Ouch.
"In the first moto today, Iker had a massive bad crash and has dislocated both shoulders," the Diga Process team wrote in a statement on social media. "We already organised a return flight back to Germany. The whole @Team_Diga_Procross family wish Iker a fast recovery and we all will help him to get back on the bike ASAP!"
Iker Larranaga Olano currently runs twelfth in the FIM Motocross World Championship and, seeing as the three riders behind him will also skip the MXGP of Asia, will remain in that position for another week. Diga Process Husqvarna will be represented at Semarang by Brent Van Doninck.
