There are many avenues to explore in marketing, as social media has opened up countless doors that were previously bolted shut. It is easy to get swept up in the online world and next big thing, as a majority of the population know, to, but it is also important to remember where things started.
Professional riders across the globe are treated as such, with some lucrative deals from manufacturers and sponsors. What allows those riders to take advantage of that? The amateur riders and weekend warriors, who purchase product for their trusty steed regularly, are what this industry is built on. It is extremely easy to forget that though, especially when watching the world’s greatest riders battle on television. Not everyone has fallen into that trap though. It is really amazing to see leading e-commerce website, 24MX, return to those roots and give something back to the riders who do so much.
After launching the Raven line of goggles across Europe, 24MX opted to focus a lot of time and effort on the grass roots. Riders of all ages and abilities were offered sponsorship packages initially and have reaped various benefits since then. The greatest of all occurred during the weekend, when a ride day was run at the relatively-new Moto101 circuit in the United Kingdom. What was the cost of riding? Nothing. The cost of food? Nothing. What was provided in return for their efforts? Free product, including exclusive access to an all-new goggle. Everyone was made to feel like a factory rider for the day! Those in attendance also got to experience the process of taking part in a professional photoshoot.
It was an unforgettable experience, something that Raven-supported rider Bradley Thornhill echoed. "I had an awesome day yesterday at the Raven athlete day at Moto101," he said. "To be picked for this opportunity was an honour and meeting all the guys yesterday was really good. What a great bunch of people they are! The day was a new situation for me having photos taken and riding with the Raven Edge goggles, but it was a mega experience. I must the goggles are really comfy and allow great vision of the track without any shadows from a goggle frame. I look forward to working with all the guys in the future and using this great goggle brand. Big thanks to everyone involved in making yesterday what it was!"
"I had a brilliant day at Moto101 and the track was mega," Kyle Biggs said. "It was brilliant to meet the whole Raven team and talk to some other team riders! I have started to gel with the goggles and would highly recommend them to anybody! It is an awesome feeling to be helped by such a good company and I cannot wait for the future."
If one is already familiar with the Raven brand, it may be worth revisiting the subject. A new line of goggles, named Sniper, have recently launched and are a significant improvement. What are some of the key perks? A nose guard and storage bag are included, there is a silicone-treated strap, an outrigger system for optimal fit and an anti-fog and anti-scratch lens. That is quite the list! The newest line are the most affordable high-end goggles on the market and come in more than twenty different colourways. It is quite clear the 24MX are full dedicated to the sport and riders of all levels.
The Wolves MX team does indeed include riders of all levels, all of which felt thoroughly privileged to make their way to the ride day. "The guys at Wolves MX had a fantastic day riding the Raven rider day at Moto101," a team representative said. "The track rode brilliantly, plus the weather held out to provide a good day’s practice. It was great to see all riders enjoying themselves and we at Wolves MX are so pleased to be part of the Raven family. Each one of us had a great day and are really excited about promoting 24MX products. We would like to thank all who helped organise and put the event together. It was a great day. Thank you for having us!"
