Following weeks of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Chad Reed will indeed contest all seventeen rounds of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross series with JGR Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing. The news was confirmed by the team on social media earlier today.
"We are excited to announce the JGRMX Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing team for the 2019 Supercross series," the team wrote on their Facebook page. "Welcoming @CRTwoTwo and @AlexMartin_26 to the team for a run in 2019, and stoked to continue our relationships with Weston Peick @JustinHill46, Kyle Peters and Jimmy Decotis. Thank you to our sponsors and supporters. Now let's go racing!"
Chad Reed battled an ankle injury throughout the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series and raced as a privateer aboard a Husqvarna. Thirteenth was his final ranking in the premier-division standings, despite those issues, and he had a season-best finish of fifth in Seattle.
