MX Manager on MX Vice: How-To Guide

Welcome to MX Manager on MX Vice, – the only fantasy game that is based around the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship! Four important changes have been made for the new season and we will run through them all here.

The Changes

•The big change! You cannot pick the same rider two weeks in a row, so strategy is a very real thing now. This means that you could miss out on great value picks or get an edge on your competition! Remember to plan ahead: Imagine picking Nathan Watson at Loket and then not having him as an option for Lommel? That would be a disaster.

•The team budget has changed to ten million euros and the rider prices have all gone up according to that. This has allowed for more room in the pricing structure, meaning there are less duplicates of riders with the same prices. It is even harder to construct a team now!

•Teams and manufacturers are no longer a part of the game. The data showed that there was only one dominant pick there, so we have eliminated that portion of the game to create more variety in the results!

•Bonus points have also been eliminated – the fact the holeshot is almost guaranteed to go to Tom Vialle in MX2 and Jorge Prado in MXGP meant that those were not adding any significant value to the game. Now you cannot rely on the safe pick that will get you an extra five points!

Similar Rules

•Like last season, prices will change from one week to the next based on form and history at a track. This, when combined with the fact that you cannot pick the same rider two weeks in a row, means that you have to have a strategy. Imagine picking Wilson Todd on a week where he does not finish either moto – his price would plummet, and you would not even be able to sign him for the next Grand Prix!

•The picks will close when gates drop on the first MX2 moto at each Grand Prix. You have to make all of your changes by that point. Set an alarm or do whatever you need to do! There will be no exceptions. Remember to make sure that your team has been saved as well!

•You have the ability to pick up to five riders in each class, but that is not mandatory. You could go with two more expensive riders or ten cheaper riders. The choice is yours. Just do whatever you think is best!

Points

•Rider points will be handed out just as they are in real life. Whatever your rider scores in each moto at the Grand Prix, he will get in the game. Simple! A rundown of the points can be found below.
